Notifications
See items waiting for your approval and system alerts, and choose which notifications you want.
The bell in the top bar shows your notifications. The section Waiting for you to approve lists invoices and other items that need your approval; click one to open it. Mark all read clears the unread count, and View all notifications opens the full list, which you can filter by All or Unread.
What you are notified about
- Items waiting for your approval (see Approvals)
- System alerts, for example when a connected Microsoft 365 mailbox needs reconnecting (see Email)
- Failed Stripe payments, when Stripe is connected
Preferences
Settings → Notifications (or Preferences on the notifications page) lets you turn each type on or off for In-App and Email: Invoice Overdue, Payment Received, Low Inventory, Approval Needed, System Alert and Task Assigned.
Email notifications are grouped into a digest, and the digest is not being sent on the hosted service at the moment. Rely on the in-app bell for now. Some types in the list (for example Invoice Overdue, Payment Received and Low Inventory) are not raised yet; use Reports → Aged Receivables, Sales → Payments and Inventory → Items → Running low instead.
