CRM
Manage your sales pipeline, deals, and customer relationships.
The CRM module helps you track sales opportunities from lead to close. Navigate to CRM in the sidebar.
Pipeline
The CRM uses a pipeline view to visualize deal stages. Deals move through stages as they progress toward closing.
Stages
Manage pipelines and their stages under Settings → Pipelines: New Pipeline, a Name, then Add Stage for each stage in order (use the arrows to reorder and click the color to change it). Mark one pipeline Set as default pipeline. Without a pipeline, the CRM uses the stages Lead, Qualified, Proposal, Negotiation, Won and Lost.
Deleting a pipeline does not delete its deals, but they lose their pipeline.
Deals
Each deal is one sales opportunity.
Create a deal
Click New Deal and fill in:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Title | Name of the deal, for example Acme Corp - Enterprise Plan |
| Pipeline and Stage | Where the deal sits |
| Contact | The customer or lead |
| Deal Value | Expected value |
| Win Probability % | Likelihood of winning |
| Expected Close | When you expect to close |
| Source | Website, Referral, Cold Outreach, Event or Other |
| Notes | Any context |
Work a deal
- Open a deal to see its Overview (contact, assigned person, source, expected close, notes), its Activity log, and Settings.
- Change the stage from the deal, or click Mark Won or Mark Lost.
- Under Log Activity on the Activity tab, record a note, email, call, meeting or task.
The pipeline page shows the Stage Distribution and can be filtered by source and status (Active, Won, Lost) and searched by deal or contact.
Analytics
CRM → Analytics shows Pipeline Value, Won Revenue, Conversion Rate, Avg Deal Size, a Deal Summary (total, open, won, lost) and the Stage Distribution.
After you win
Anchor does not create an invoice from a deal. Create the quote or invoice for the deal's contact as usual.
